Chat About a Match Invite
Open the private event conversation, discuss arrangements and use the confirmation controls in the chat.
Start or open the chat
- Open the match details.
- Select Chat or Start Chat.
- Enter a text message and select Send.
Note: Match chats are private between the host and one interested Academy or Coach. They are separate from Academy group chats.
Find existing event chats
- Open Community.
- Select the chat icon.
- Search by the other party or post title.
- Use All, Matches or Tournaments to filter the list.
- Open the required conversation.
Use confirmation controls in chat
- The host can confirm the match or accept a participant request.
- The interested party can request confirmation or accept the host confirmation.
- Either side can cancel its pending request before mutual confirmation.
- After mutual confirmation, either side can withdraw until the host starts the match.
System messages
VR SPORT adds system messages when confirmation changes, interest is withdrawn, another opponent is selected, a match reopens or the host cancels the event.
Remove a chat from the inbox
The chat list allows you to remove a conversation from your inbox. A new message can make it visible again.
