Send and Manage Messages in VR SPORT Chat

Send text, images and documents, reply and react to messages, and manage your own message history.

Send a text message

  1. Open the required chat.
  2. Enter the message in the composer.
  3. Select Send.

Send an image or document

  1. Select the attachment icon.
  2. Choose Image, Document or Camera.
  3. Select or capture the file.
  4. Wait for the upload to complete. The attachment is sent to the group automatically.
Note: The current attachment limit is 10 MB. Supported document selections include PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX and TXT.

Reply, react or copy

  1. Press or open the message action menu.
  2. Choose Reply to include the original message context.
  3. Choose React and select an emoji.
  4. Choose Copy to copy available message text.

Edit your own message

Edit is available for your own text message within the configured edit window. Attachment messages cannot be edited as text.

Delete messages

  • Delete for me hides the selected message only from your local view.
  • Delete for everyone is available for your own message within the configured deletion window. Other members then see that the message was deleted.

Pin an important message

The group owner or an administrator can pin or unpin a message. The latest pinned message appears in the pinned banner and all pinned messages are listed in Group Information.

When the composer is unavailable

  • The group is read-only and you are not an admin.
  • Player replies are disabled.
  • The group is deactivated.
  • The group is archived.
