Review Match Interest and Confirm an Opponent
Review interested Academies or Coaches, discuss the Match Invite and complete the two-sided confirmation process.
Review interested Academies and Coaches
- Open Community.
- Select Mine.
- Open the match post.
- Scroll to the interested parties section.
Compare and contact interested parties
- The host sees the interested Academy or Coach name and role.
- Select Start Chat to discuss the match.
- Select Confirm Match to begin or complete confirmation.
- Review the status shown for each party, such as Confirmation Sent, Awaiting Your Response or Confirmed Opponent.
Privacy of the interest list
Only the host needs the complete competitor list. Interested parties do not see the other Academies or Coaches that expressed interest.
How confirmation works
A match is confirmed only after the host and one interested party both agree. Either side can act first.
From the interested party
- Show interest in the match.
- Select Confirm or Request to Confirm from the match details, or use Request Match Confirmation in the chat.
- Wait for the host, or select Accept Confirm when the host has already confirmed.
From the host
- Open the match under Mine.
- Review the interested parties.
- Select Confirm Match or Confirm the match for the preferred party.
- Wait for the other party, or accept its request when it arrived first.
After both sides confirm
- The selected opponent sees Confirmed.
- Other viewers see the match as Closed.
- Other interested parties receive a message that another team was selected.
- The host can prepare the team and later select Start Match.
One opponent at a time
After the host sends confirmation to one party, the host cannot confirm another party until the first confirmation is withdrawn or completed.
After choosing an opponent
When both sides confirm, the match closes to other parties. The host can still edit match details before selecting Start Match.
Withdraw a confirmation before the match starts
Either confirmed side can select Withdraw Match Confirmation. The pairing is removed and the match reopens for interest. Other interested parties are informed that the match is open again.
