Create or Edit a Cricket Match Team
Invite roster players, add guests, track responses and manage positions for a cricket match.
Availability
The current team and lineup workflow is available for cricket matches. The host can build its team before an opponent is confirmed. The confirmed opponent manages its own team after confirmation.
Open the team editor
- Open the match details.
- Under Team, select Invite Team or Edit Team for your Academy or Coach account.
Invite roster players
- Search the roster by name or mobile.
- Select the players to invite.
- Optionally add a position or role, such as Opening Bat or Wicketkeeper.
- Select the save action to send the new invitations.
Add guests or borrowed players
- Select Add player by mobile (guest / borrowed).
- Enter the mobile number and Player name.
- Select Add to lineup.
- Optionally add a position or role.
Note: Guests are added directly and display with a GUEST or G indicator.
Understand Player invitation statuses
- INVITED means the Player has not responded.
- ACCEPTED means the Player accepted and appears on the team.
- DECLINED means the Player declined the invitation.
- Use the cancel control on an active invitation to revoke it.
When the team locks
The team remains editable until the host records the match result. After a result is recorded, both teams are locked to preserve the playing record.
