Record, Edit or Clear a Match Result
Record the final outcome after the host starts the match and understand the 10-day result editing window.
Who can record the result
Only the host records the official match result. The confirmed opponent can view the result.
Before you begin
- The match must be confirmed.
- The host must select Start Match.
- Cancelled matches do not accept a result.
Record the result
- Open the started match.
- Under Record Match Result, select Record result.
- Choose the host, opponent, Match drawn or No result.
- Enter both scores if available. Scores are optional.
- Add or review the result summary.
- Select Save result.
Score validation
For cricket and badminton, VR SPORT compares the selected winner with the entered scores. If they conflict, the app shows a warning so the host can correct the selection or save deliberately.
Edit or clear a result
- Open the recorded result.
- Select Edit to change it, or Clear result to remove it.
- Complete the action before the result locks.
Result lock
The result becomes read-only more than 10 days after the match date. The result remains visible after locking.
Note: Recording a result also locks both cricket team lineups.
