Record, Edit or Clear a Match Result

Record the final outcome after the host starts the match and understand the 10-day result editing window.

Who can record the result

Only the host records the official match result. The confirmed opponent can view the result.

Before you begin

  • The match must be confirmed.
  • The host must select Start Match.
  • Cancelled matches do not accept a result.

Record the result

  1. Open the started match.
  2. Under Record Match Result, select Record result.
  3. Choose the host, opponent, Match drawn or No result.
  4. Enter both scores if available. Scores are optional.
  5. Add or review the result summary.
  6. Select Save result.

Score validation

For cricket and badminton, VR SPORT compares the selected winner with the entered scores. If they conflict, the app shows a warning so the host can correct the selection or save deliberately.

Edit or clear a result

  1. Open the recorded result.
  2. Select Edit to change it, or Clear result to remove it.
  3. Complete the action before the result locks.

Result lock

The result becomes read-only more than 10 days after the match date. The result remains visible after locking.

Note: Recording a result also locks both cricket team lineups.
