Understand Academy Staff Accounts
Learn how Academy staff accounts are created, how staff log in and how branch assignments and permissions control access.
How a staff account is created
A staff account is created by the Academy owner inside Staff Management. Staff do not sign up for a separate public account type. The owner enters the Academy staff member’s name and mobile number, assigns one or more Academy branches and enables at least one permission module.
How staff log in
The Academy staff member uses the normal VR SPORT mobile-app login with the mobile number registered by the Academy. VR SPORT identifies the account as staff after OTP verification and opens the Academy dashboard with the Academy staff member’s access restrictions applied.
What controls staff access
- Assigned branches control which Academy locations the Academy staff member can view and work in.
- Permission modules control which operational areas the Academy staff member can open.
- Inactive staff do not receive operational access.
- The Academy owner remains the only user with unrestricted Academy administration access.
Staff is not a public account type
Academy, Coach and Player are the public account types. Staff is an Academy-managed access role created under an existing Academy.
