Understand the Five Staff Permission Modules
See which Academy features are controlled by Programs & Batches, Players & Fees, Attendance & Communication, Community & Events and Reports & Exports.
Programs & Batches
- Open Program Management and Batch Management.
- Create and edit programs and batches.
- Manage batch schedules.
- Assign available Academy Coaches while working with batches.
- This permission does not allow the Academy staff member to open owner-only Coach Management.
Players & Fees
- Open Player Management and Player profiles.
- Add Players and manage program or batch enrolments.
- Open Finance and Player fee history.
- Record payments and manage fee-related actions available in the Finance workflow.
- A Academy staff member with this permission can waive a fee where the Finance screen allows it.
Attendance & Communication
- Open batch attendance and Today’s Sessions.
- Mark and edit attendance where supported.
- Open Academy Messages and group-chat management.
- Create and manage communication groups and chat threads.
Community & Events
- Open the Community.
- Create Match and Tournament posts where the Academy plan allows Community access.
- Open Match details, event chat and Match editing workflows.
- Academy Premium is still required for Community access even when this permission is enabled.
Reports & Exports
- The permission is intended to control report and export access for assigned branches.
- The current app does not yet expose a dedicated Reports or Analytics screen.
- Existing Finance and fee analytics are controlled through Players & Fees permission.
- The current fee CSV button is not yet consistently gated by the Reports & Exports permission or Academy plan.
Permission and plan rules work together
A permission module does not override the Academy subscription. The Academy staff member needs both the relevant permission and a plan that includes the feature.
