Understand Community and Match Statuses
Understand the difference between Community time tabs and the status shown on an individual match post.
Community time tabs
- New means the event date has not arrived.
- Ongoing means the match is today or has been started without a final result.
- Past means the event date has passed or the post is cancelled or archived.
Match post statuses
- Open for Interest means other Academies or Coaches can show interest.
- In Discussion means a conversation or confirmation process is underway.
- Confirmed appears to the selected opponent after mutual confirmation.
- Closed appears to the host and other viewers after one opponent is confirmed.
- Cancelled means the host cancelled the event. The post is read-only.
- Archived means the post is retained as a past, read-only record.
Why the same post can show different labels
The status badge is audience-aware. The confirmed opponent sees Confirmed, while other viewers see Closed because they are not part of the final pairing.
