Edit or Cancel a Match Invite
Change match details before the match starts, or cancel the event with a reason.
Edit match details
- Open Community and select Mine.
- Open the match post.
- Select Edit Match Details.
- Update the title, age group, format, date, time, location, venue, cost or description.
- Select Save Changes.
Note: A confirmed match can still be edited until the host selects Start Match.
Validation during editing
- Title, format, date, location, city, district and state are required.
- Cricket requires Day Match or Night Match.
- Custom Amount requires a cost.
- When Ground Already Booked is selected on the edit screen, Venue Name is required.
Cancel the match
- Open the match details.
- Select Cancel Match.
- Enter the required cancellation reason.
- Select Cancel Event.
Note: Cancelling archives the connected event chats and sends a system update, including the reason, to existing conversations.
After the match starts
Match details are locked. Edit and Cancel are no longer available. Use the result and statistics sections instead.
