Understand Coach Discovery and Player Interests
Learn which Coaches appear in Player discovery, how Show Interest works, and how VR SPORT creates a direct Player–Coach conversation.
How Coach Discovery works
Players use the Coaches section to discover eligible Coaches for their sport. The list is designed for personal-coaching enquiries and does not display every Coach account on VR SPORT.
Which Coaches can appear
- The Coach profile is complete.
- The Coach sport matches the Player sport.
- The Coach has eligible Coach Pro access, including an active cancellation grace period where applicable.
- The Player is not already actively enrolled with the Coach.
- The Player does not already have an active interest conversation with the Coach.
What Show Interest does
- Records the Player’s interest in the Coach.
- Creates a private Player–Coach chat immediately.
- Adds the Player and Coach to the conversation.
- Uses the Player’s optional message as the first chat message.
- Notifies the Coach about the new conversation.
Note: There is no separate Coach Accept or Decline step. The Coach may reply in Chats or leave the conversation unanswered.
Interest statuses
- Active means the interest was sent and the chat is available. It does not mean the Coach accepted the Player.
- Cancelled means the Player closed the interest record. The Player can discover the Coach again and send a new interest later.
Privacy
Coach mobile numbers and email addresses are not shown to Players through discovery. Communication continues inside the VR SPORT chat.
