Show Interest in a Coach
Send a personal-coaching enquiry and create a private Player–Coach chat from the Coach profile.
Before you begin
- Complete the Player profile.
- Open a Coach from Coaches, Discover.
- Confirm the Coach and available profile information are suitable for the enquiry.
Write the enquiry
- Scroll to Your Message.
- For cricket, optionally select Batting, Bowling, Fielding or All-rounder to pre-fill a message.
- Edit the suggested message or write a different message.
- Keep the message within 300 characters.
Note: The message is optional. Badminton currently does not show the cricket quick-start message options, but the Player can type a message manually.
Send the interest
- Select Show Interest.
- Wait for the Message Sent confirmation.
- The app refreshes the Coach list and opens My Interests.
What happens immediately
- The interest is saved as Active.
- A private chat is created for the Player and Coach.
- If a message was entered, it becomes the first chat message.
- The Coach is notified and sees the conversation in Chats.
- The Coach disappears from Discover while the Active interest exists.
No payment at this stage
Show Interest is an enquiry only. VR SPORT does not collect a coaching payment when the Player sends the interest. Any later enrolment is a separate Coach workflow.
No acceptance stage
The chat is created immediately. The Coach does not need to accept or decline the interest before replying.
