Use the Player–Coach Interest Chat
Continue the private conversation created when a Player shows interest in a Coach.
How the chat is created
VR SPORT creates the private chat automatically when the Player selects Show Interest. If the Player included a message, that message appears first in the conversation.
Open the chat as a Player
- Open Coaches.
- Open My Interests.
- Select Open Chat for the Active interest.
- In Player Messages, select the chat with the Coach.
Open the chat as a Coach
- Open Chats from the Coach bottom navigation.
- Find the conversation showing the Player’s name and the Interest label.
- Open the thread.
Continue the conversation
The Player and Coach can use the standard VR SPORT messaging features available in the thread. This includes text and, where enabled by the shared chat system, attachments, replies and reactions.
What the chat does not do
- It does not enrol the Player in a Coach program.
- It does not collect payment.
- It does not automatically create a Coach Player record.
- It does not confirm a training schedule.
Move from enquiry to coaching
After discussing the training requirement, the Coach can enrol the Player separately through the Coach Player-management workflow when both parties are ready.
