Understand Community Access for Academies and Coaches
Learn who can open Community, which plans include competition features, and how Player participation is handled.
Who can use Community
- Academies can open Community when the Academy is on the Premium plan.
- Independent Coaches can open Community when Coach Pro is active.
- Academy staff access depends on the Community & Events permission assigned by the Academy owner.
- Players do not browse Community. Players receive team invitations under My Matches.
What Community includes
- Discover match and tournament posts for the account sport.
- Create Match Invite and Tournament posts.
- Show interest in posts created by other Academies or Coaches.
- Open private event chats and complete confirmation.
- Manage teams, invitations, results and competition records.
Sport and location matching
Community shows posts for the sport linked to the Academy or Coach account. Nearby discovery uses the profile city, district, state and nearby states.
Note: Complete the account location to receive more relevant Nearby results.
When an upgrade screen appears
A non-Premium Academy sees the Community upgrade screen. A Coach without Coach Pro sees the Coach Pro upgrade screen.
