Edit or Cancel a Tournament

Change tournament details before its start date or cancel the tournament with a reason that participants can see.

When editing is available

The host can edit or cancel the tournament before its Start Date while the tournament is not cancelled or archived. Once the Start Date is reached, tournament details become locked.

Edit tournament details

  1. Open your tournament in Community.
  2. Select Edit Tournament Details.
  3. Change the required information.
  4. Select Save Changes.

Teams Allowed rules

  • The value must remain a whole number from 3 to 32.
  • It cannot be reduced below the number of currently confirmed teams.
  • Remove a confirmed team first if you need to reduce capacity.

Cancel the tournament

  1. Open your tournament before its Start Date.
  2. Select Cancel Tournament.
  3. Enter a cancellation reason.
  4. Select Confirm Cancel.

After cancellation

  • The tournament is marked Cancelled.
  • Interested and confirmed parties can see the cancellation and reason.
  • The tournament becomes read-only and no longer accepts applications.
