Understand Notifications and Alerts in VR SPORT
Learn how the shared Notification Center works for Academy, Coach and Player accounts.
Where notifications appear
Academy, Coach and Player dashboards include a bell icon. A badge appears when unread notifications are available. Select the bell to open the shared Notification Center.
What the Notification Center shows
- Notifications are shown newest first.
- Unread items use a stronger visual style and an unread dot.
- Each item can include a title, short message, category icon and relative time.
- The panel currently loads up to the latest 50 notifications for the account.
What happens when you select an alert
Selecting an unread notification marks it as read. When the platform has attached a destination to the notification, VR SPORT also opens the related feature or screen.
Account-level delivery
- Player notifications use the Player account record.
- Coach notifications use the Coach account record.
- Academy notifications use the Academy account record.
- Academy staff access the Academy workspace rather than receiving a separate public account type.
In-app alerts remain the reference point
