Use the Notification Center and Manage Alerts

Open recent alerts, understand unread status, mark notifications as read and follow available destinations.

Open the Notification Center

  1. Log in to the VR SPORT mobile app.
  2. Open the Academy, Coach or Player dashboard.
  3. Select the bell icon in the dashboard header.
  4. Review the notifications shown newest first.

Understand the unread badge

  • The badge shows that unread notifications exist.
  • Coach and Player dashboard badges display 9+ when the unread total is greater than nine.
  • The Notification Center header shows the current unread total for the loaded notification list.

Read one notification

  1. Open the Notification Center.
  2. Select an unread notification.
  3. VR SPORT immediately changes the item to read status.
  4. If a related destination is available, the app may open that screen.

Mark all loaded notifications as read

  1. Open the Notification Center.
  2. Select Mark all read in the purple header.
  3. The unread styling and current unread badge are cleared for the account.

Open the related feature

  1. Open the Notification Center.
  2. Select the notification.
  3. The item is marked as read.
  4. When a destination is attached, the Notification Center closes and VR SPORT opens the related screen.

Notifications without a destination

Some alerts are informational only. Selecting them marks them read but may leave you in the same area of the app. Use the notification message to identify the relevant feature.

Examples confirmed in the mobile source

  • A new Player fee can open Fees & Payments.
  • A new program enrolment can open the Player activity area.

History shown

The current Notification Center requests the latest 50 notification rows for the account and sorts them newest first.

Available actions

  • Open a notification
  • Mark one notification as read
  • Mark all notifications as read
  • Open a related feature when configured

Actions not currently available

  • Delete one notification
  • Clear all notification history
  • Mark a notification unread
  • Filter by category
  • Search notifications
  • Load older notifications beyond the current limit through the interface
  • There is no Mark as unread action.
  • There is no user-facing Delete notification or Clear history action.
  • Mark all read applies to unread notification rows for the account, including rows not currently visible in the first screen load.

Operational records remain elsewhere

Deleting notification history is not required to manage fees, enrolments, chats, matches or subscriptions. Open those features to review their authoritative records.

Shared Academy recipient behaviour

Note: The current app associates Academy notifications with the Academy record. Academy-owner and staff read behaviour should be tested in the running app before relying on separate per-staff unread states.

If the wrong screen opens

Return to the dashboard and open the feature manually. Record the notification title, account type and destination that opened, then report the issue to VR SPORT Support.

No notifications yet

An empty state means no notification rows are currently available for that account. It does not necessarily mean every platform event or mobile push is enabled.

Close the panel

Select the close button in the Notification Center header to return to the previous screen.
