Respond to a Player Interest as a Coach
Understand how a Player enquiry appears in Coach Chats and what the Coach can do next.
How the enquiry appears
- The Player interest creates a private chat automatically.
- The conversation appears in the Coach Chats list.
- The chat displays the Player’s name.
- The chat type is labelled Interest.
- The Player’s message appears in the thread when one was provided.
Respond to the Player
- Open Chats from the Coach bottom navigation.
- Select the Interest conversation.
- Review the Player’s message.
- Reply through the chat when appropriate.
No Accept or Decline button
The current workflow does not ask the Coach to accept or decline the interest. The Coach may reply, continue the discussion later, or leave the conversation unanswered.
Enrolment is separate
Replying to the Player does not enrol them. If the Player joins personal coaching, add or enrol the Player later through the Coach’s My Players workflow.
Player contact privacy
The discovery workflow does not send the Coach’s mobile number or email address to the Player. Communication remains inside VR SPORT unless both parties independently decide otherwise.
