Complete Your Coach Profile in the Mobile App

Add the required Coach identity and professional information before opening the Coach dashboard.

When this screen appears

VR SPORT opens Complete Your Coach Profile when a new Coach logs in to the mobile app before the profile is complete. It also appears for an Academy-invited Coach who has not completed the Coach identity.

Required information

  • Profile photo
  • Full name with at least 3 characters
  • Primary sport
  • Verified email address
  • Gender
  • Years of experience
Note: The progress bar shows how much of the required profile has been completed. The Coach dashboard remains unavailable until the required information is saved.

Step 1: Add the profile photo

  1. Select Upload from Gallery or Take Selfie.
  2. Choose or capture a clear Coach profile photo.
  3. Wait for the upload to finish before continuing.
Note: Use a JPG or PNG image of no more than 5 MB. A failed upload must be completed before the profile can be saved.

Step 2: Complete the basic information

  1. Enter the Full Name.
  2. Choose Cricket or Badminton as the Primary Sport when the account was created independently.
  3. Review the registered mobile number. It is locked on this screen.
  4. Enter the email address and select Send OTP to verify.
  5. Enter the 6-digit email OTP. The verified email is used for account recovery.
  6. Select the Gender.
  7. Choose the Years of Experience range.
  8. Add a Short Coaching Bio if required.
Note: For an Academy-invited Coach, the Primary Sport is inherited from the Academy and cannot be changed. For an independently created Coach account, the selected sport cannot be changed later.

Step 3: Add optional professional details

  1. Add Certifications if available.
  2. Select the State, District and City under Location if required.
  3. Review the information before saving.
Note: Location helps Academies and Players find relevant Coaches nearby.

Step 4: Complete the profile

  1. Select Complete Profile.
  2. Correct any required field highlighted by the app.
  3. Wait while the Coach profile is saved.
  4. For a website-created Coach account, review the completion summary and select Go to Dashboard.
  5. For an invited Coach, the account continues into the Coach experience after the profile is saved.

Common problems

  • Profile photo is required: upload or capture a valid image.
  • Please verify your email address: complete the email OTP verification.
  • That code is incorrect or has expired: request a new email OTP and enter the latest code.
  • Email already in use: use a different email address or contact Support if the email belongs to this account.
  • Please select your years of experience: choose one of the experience ranges.
