How to Create an Academy Account

Create an Academy account in the VR SPORT website, verify the account details and choose a plan.

Before you begin

  • Keep the 10-digit Indian mobile number that will be used to log in to the Academy account.
  • Use an email address that you can verify and use later for account recovery.
  • Keep the academy name, primary contact name and academy address ready.
  • Decide whether the academy’s sport is Cricket or Badminton. The sport cannot be changed after the Academy account is created.

Step 1: Choose Academy and verify the mobile number

  1. Open the VR SPORT website signup and select Academy.
  2. On Create your academy account, enter the 10-digit mobile number. The +91 country code is added by the website.
  3. Select Send code. The website first checks whether the number already belongs to a VR SPORT account.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code sent to the mobile number and select Verify. You can request Resend code after the 30-second countdown or select Change number to correct the mobile number.
Note: Step 1 of 4 covers both mobile-number entry and OTP verification. If the number already belongs to an account, the website stops the signup before sending another OTP.

Step 2: Enter the academy details

  1. Enter the Academy name.
  2. Enter the Primary contact name.
  3. Choose Cricket or Badminton under Sport.
  4. Confirm that the verified mobile number displayed on the screen is correct.
  5. Enter the email address and select Verify.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code sent to the email address, then select Verify email.
  7. After the email shows Verified, select Continue.
Note: The Continue button remains unavailable until the Academy name and Primary contact name are entered and the email address is verified.

Step 3: Add the academy address

  1. Enter the Address, including the house or building, street and landmark.
  2. Enter the Area or locality if applicable. Area is optional.
  3. Enter the City.
  4. Select the State.
  5. Select the District. The District list becomes available after a State is selected.
  6. Enter the 6-digit Pincode.
  7. Select Save and proceed.
Note: Address, City, State, District and a valid 6-digit Pincode are required to continue.

Step 4: Choose the Academy plan

  1. Review the Basic (Free), Growth and Premium plan cards.
  2. Use the Monthly or Yearly switch when comparing a paid plan.
  3. Select Get started free for the Basic (Free) plan, or select Choose Growth or Choose Premium for a paid plan.
  4. If you select a paid plan, complete the payment in the Razorpay checkout window.
  5. After the plan is created or activated, the website opens the Academy account area.
Note: The Basic card represents the Academy Free plan and does not require a card. The Academy account becomes active when a plan is selected.

What happens next

The website account area shows the Academy profile, plan, billing and account-security information.

If the operational setup is incomplete, the Overview section displays Finish setting up in the app. Install the VR SPORT app and log in with the same verified mobile number to add branches, programs, batches and players.

If you leave before choosing a plan

The website saves the Academy signup details as a draft. Log in with the same mobile number, verify the OTP, and select Choose a plan to finish to continue from Step 4.
