How to Create a Coach Account

Create a Coach account on the VR SPORT website, choose a plan and continue profile setup in the mobile app.

Before you begin

  • Keep the 10-digit Indian mobile number that will be used to log in to the Coach account.
  • Use an email address that you can verify and use later for account recovery.
  • Choose whether your primary sport is Cricket or Badminton. The selected sport is permanent for the Coach account.
  • Keep your city, district and state ready. You can also add experience, specialisation and certifications during signup.

Step 1: Select Coach and verify the mobile number

  1. Open VR SPORT signup on the website and select Coach.
  2. On Create your coach account, enter the 10-digit mobile number.
  3. Select Send code. VR SPORT first checks whether the number already belongs to an account.
  4. Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to the mobile number and select Verify.
  5. Use Resend code after the countdown or select Change number if the mobile number is incorrect.
Note: One mobile number can have only one VR SPORT account type. An existing Academy, Coach, Player or staff account cannot be registered again as Coach.

Step 2: Enter and verify the Coach details

  1. Enter the Full name.
  2. Choose Cricket or Badminton under Sport.
  3. Confirm the verified mobile number displayed on the screen.
  4. Enter the email address and select Verify.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code sent to the email address and select Verify email.
  6. After the email shows Verified, select Continue.
Note: Full name and a verified email are required before you can continue.

Step 3: Add the coaching location and professional details

  1. Select the State.
  2. Select the District.
  3. Enter the City.
  4. Add the number of years of coaching experience if available.
  5. Add a Specialisation if available, such as batting or fitness.
  6. Add Certifications if available, such as BCCI Level 1.
  7. Select Save and proceed.
Note: City, District and State are required. Experience, Specialisation and Certifications can be completed or updated later.

Step 4: Choose the Coach plan

  1. Review Basic (Coach Starter) and Coach Pro.
  2. Choose Basic to start on Coach Starter with the free Coach profile and Academy-assigned work features.
  3. Choose Coach Pro for personal training programs, personal Players, fee management, revenue visibility and Player discovery.
  4. Use the Monthly or Yearly option when choosing Coach Pro.
  5. If you choose Coach Pro, complete the payment in the Razorpay checkout window.
  6. After the plan is activated, the website opens the Coach account area.

Complete the Coach profile in the mobile app

  1. Install or open the VR SPORT mobile app.
  2. Log in with the same registered Coach mobile number.
  3. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number.
  4. If the Coach profile is incomplete, VR SPORT opens the profile-completion flow before the Coach dashboard.
  5. Complete the required profile information and continue to the Coach account.

If the mobile number is already registered

VR SPORT stops the signup and asks you to log in. Use the same mobile number in the mobile app or website account area. An incomplete Coach profile resumes when you log in rather than creating a second account.
