Create a Personal Batch Group or One-to-One Player Chat
Create Coach-owned communication for a personal Batch or one active personal Player using Coach Pro.
Coach Pro requirement
Creating Coach-owned personal chats requires active Coach Pro. Academy-owned chats remain controlled by the Academy and are separate.
Choose the chat type
- Open Chats.
- Select Create Chat when available.
- Choose Group Chat for a personal Batch or One-to-One Chat for one personal Player.
Personal Batch group
- Choose an active personal Batch.
- All active Players currently assigned to that Batch are added automatically.
- Only one non-archived group chat can exist for the same personal Batch.
- Enter a chat name of up to 80 characters.
- Choose whether Players can reply or the group is read-only.
- Optionally add a welcome message of up to 500 characters.
One-to-one Player chat
- Choose one active personal Player.
- Only one non-archived one-to-one chat can exist for that Player.
- The conversation always supports two-way messaging.
- The Player profile photo is used when available.
- Optionally add a welcome message.
Chat name handling
If another active or deactivated Coach chat already uses the same name, VR SPORT can append a number such as (2). Archived chats do not block a new chat.
Membership updates
Note: Batch group membership is built from active Players assigned to the Batch at creation time. Verify membership after later Player or Batch changes because automatic ongoing synchronization should be tested in the running app.
