View Group Information, Members and Notifications
Open Group Information to review members, pinned messages and notification settings.
Open Group Information
- Open the required chat.
- Select the group header containing the group name and member count.
Information available
- Group name, type and creation information
- Group description where available
- Notification status
- Pinned messages
- Active member count
- Member names, roles and administrator badges
Mute or unmute notifications
- Open Group Information.
- Select the Notifications control.
- Mute or unmute the group for your own account.
Note: Muting affects only your notification preference. It does not remove you from the group or change another member’s settings.
Open a pinned message
- Open Pinned messages.
- Select a pinned item to return to its position in the conversation.
Leave a group
A non-owner member may see Leave group. Leaving removes the conversation from that member’s chat list. The group remains available to other members, and an administrator may be able to add the member again later.
Note: The owner of a group cannot leave it. The owner must deactivate or archive the group.
