Allow VR SPORT Push Notifications on Your Mobile Device
Grant mobile notification permission and understand what happens when permission is denied.
When VR SPORT requests permission
After login in the installed mobile app, VR SPORT checks the device notification permission. If the device returns a prompt state, the app requests permission.
Allow notifications
- Log in to the installed VR SPORT mobile app.
- When the device asks for notification permission, select Allow.
- Continue using the app. VR SPORT registers the device token for the logged-in account.
If permission was denied
The current app does not provide a dedicated global notification-preferences screen. Open the device App Info or system notification settings for VR SPORT and enable notifications there.
Web and browser use
The current push-registration implementation is native-mobile only. Opening VR SPORT in a standard browser does not register the browser for push alerts.
Privacy
Note: A device token identifies an app installation for notification delivery. It is not your payment credential or OTP.
