Manage Notification Preferences and Mute a Group Chat
Understand the notification controls currently available in VR SPORT.
Global notification preferences
The current app does not provide category-by-category controls for fees, matches, subscriptions or other Notification Center alerts. Use the device operating-system settings to allow or block VR SPORT push notifications globally.
Mute one group chat
- Open the relevant group chat.
- Open Group Information.
- Select the Notifications control.
- Switch the group from Notifications on to Notifications muted.
Unmute the group
- Open Group Information again.
- Select the muted notification control.
- Confirm that the group shows Notifications on.
What muting does not change
- It does not remove you from the group.
- It does not delete messages.
- It does not stop general account notifications in the Notification Center.
- It does not change another member’s notification setting.
One-to-one and event chat controls
The current source confirms per-group mute state through Group Information. Equivalent granular controls for every direct or event conversation should be verified in the running app before being documented as available.
