Learn how tournament discovery, team-slot confirmation, squads, fixtures, playing lineups, results and standings connect.
Who can use tournament Community features
- Academies require the Premium plan to browse, create and manage Community tournaments.
- Independent Coaches require Coach Pro.
- Academy staff require Community & Events permission.
- Players do not browse Community. They receive team invitations through My Matches.
The tournament journey
- The host creates the tournament and is automatically added as the first confirmed team.
- Other Academies or Coach Pro accounts show interest.
- The host and each interested party may chat and mutually confirm one tournament slot.
- The tournament closes automatically when the confirmed-team count reaches the Teams Allowed value.
- Each confirmed team creates its own tournament squad and invites Players.
- The host schedules fixtures between confirmed teams.
- Each team selects its own playing XI for each fixture.
- The host records fixture results and each team records its own Player statistics.
- Standings update from completed fixture results.
Important status behaviour
- Open means the tournament can still receive applications.
- Confirmed means all team slots are filled.
- Completed means every non-cancelled fixture has a recorded result.
- Removing a confirmed team can reopen the tournament and cancel scheduled fixtures involving that team.
- Withdrawing the last completed fixture result can move a completed tournament back to Confirmed.
