Remove a Coach from Your Academy
End the complete Academy–Coach attachment and remove all Academy batch responsibilities.
Before removing the coach
- Review every assigned branch and batch.
- Identify batches that need another coach.
- Confirm that the coach should lose the full Academy attachment rather than only one batch assignment.
Remove the coach
- Open the Academy dashboard.
- Select Coach.
- Find the coach under Existing Coaches.
- Select Remove from Academy.
- Wait for the Coach removed from academy successfully message.
What removal changes
- The active Academy attachment is ended.
- The coach is removed from all Academy batch assignments.
- The coach disappears from the Academy’s active Existing Coaches list.
- The coach’s independent VR SPORT Coach account remains available.
- Attachments to other Academies are not deleted.
Important action behaviour
Note: The current screen may remove the coach immediately without a separate confirmation dialog. Use Detach instead when only one batch assignment needs to be removed.
Academy records that remain
Removing a coach does not delete the Academy, batches, Players, attendance records, fees, match history or tournament history. Historical records may continue showing the coach where the coach was previously involved.
Re-adding later
A removed coach can be invited again using the same mobile number. The coach must complete OTP consent again, and the Academy must assign the required branches and batches again.
