Add a Coach to Your Academy

Who can add a coach

Only the Academy owner can invite or manage coaches. Academy staff cannot open the coach-management screen.

Before you begin

• Keep the coach’s active 10-digit mobile number ready.
• Confirm the Academy branches where the coach will work.
• Create any batches you want to assign now. Batch assignment is optional and can be completed later.

Open Coaches Info

1. Open the Academy dashboard.
2. Select the Coach quick action.
3. On Coaches Info, enter the coach’s mobile number under Invite Coach.
4. Select Continue.

Review the account check

VR SPORT checks whether the mobile number already belongs to an active coach account.

• Coach Account Found: the coach already has a VR SPORT coach account.
• No Account Found: the Academy can collect the basic coach details after OTP verification.

Verify the coach’s consent

1. Select Send OTP.
2. Ask the coach to share the 6-digit OTP sent to the entered mobile number.
3. Select Enter OTP.
4. Enter the six digits and select Verify & Continue.

Add basic details for a new coach

This step appears only when no coach account was found.

1. Enter the required Full Name.
2. Add Specialisation if available.
3. Add Experience if available.
4. Select Continue.

Assign branches and batches

1. Select at least one Academy branch. A single active branch is selected automatically.
2. For a multi-branch Academy, select every branch where the coach will work.
3. Under Select Batches, choose any active batches to assign. Batch assignment is optional.
4. Select Add Coach and Assign Batches, or add the coach without batches and assign them later.

Manage coaches after adding them

The Coaches Info screen lists active Academy coaches, their branch assignments and assigned batches. Use Edit to change the Academy relationship, detach a coach from a batch, or remove the coach from the Academy when required.

Common messages

• Mobile number is required
• Please enter a valid 10-digit mobile number
• This coach is already in your academy
• Please enter the 6-digit OTP
• Invalid OTP. Please try again.
• Coach name is required
• Please select at least one branch
• No active batches in this branch
