Understand Active and Inactive Players in an Academy

Learn how VR SPORT determines a Player’s status separately for each Academy branch.

Active status is based on enrolments

A Player is Active in the selected branch when at least one enrolment in that branch has an Active status. A Player may have multiple program enrolments and needs only one active enrolment to remain Active in that branch.

When a Player appears as Inactive

A Player appears as Inactive when the branch still has enrolment history for that Player but none of those branch enrolments is currently active.

Status can differ by branch or Academy

  • A Player may be Active in one branch and Inactive in another.
  • A Player may remain active in another Academy after enrolment ends in your Academy.
  • Changing an Academy enrolment does not delete or suspend the Player’s VR SPORT account.

Platform status is different

Platform status is controlled separately from Academy enrolment status. A platform-suspended account is hidden from Academy lists and cannot be managed as a normal active Player.

How enrolment actions affect status

  • Adding or reactivating a program enrolment can make the Player Active.
  • Stopping the last active program enrolment in the branch makes the Player Inactive.
  • Removing the Player from one batch does not make the Player Inactive when the program enrolment remains active.
