Understand Academy-Assigned Coach Operations
Learn how one Coach account separates Academy assignments from independent coaching work and what the Coach can do inside an Academy.
One Coach account, two work areas
A Coach can use one VR SPORT account for Academy-assigned work and, when eligible, independent personal training. Academy assignments appear under My Academies, while independent programs, Players, sessions and fees appear under Training, My Players and Personal Fees.
What an Academy-assigned Coach can do
- View active Academy attachments
- View branches and Batches assigned by each Academy
- Review recurring training days and timings
- View the Player roster for an assigned Batch
- Add private Coach notes for an assigned Batch
- Mark and edit attendance for assigned Academy Batches
- Open Academy chats when added as a member
- Read Academy announcements shown on the Coach dashboard
What remains under Academy control
- Academy profile and branches
- Programs and Batch setup
- Player enrolment and removal
- Coach role, branch and Batch assignments
- Player fees, payments and receipts
- Staff accounts and permissions
- Academy subscription and billing
Plan access
Note: Academy-assigned work is separate from Coach Pro. A Coach does not need Coach Pro merely to view assigned Academy Batches, schedules, Players, chats or attendance. Coach Pro is required for independent personal-training features, Coach-created chats and Community access.
