Understand Academy-Assigned Coach Access and Restrictions
See which Academy records are read-only for a Coach and which actions remain controlled by the Academy owner or authorised staff.
Available to an assigned Coach
- View active Academy attachments
- View assigned branches and Batches
- View linked programs, schedules and next sessions
- View Players in assigned Batches
- Add and delete private Batch notes
- Mark and edit assigned Batch attendance
- Use Academy chats when added as a member
- Read recent Academy announcements
Read-only or unavailable to the Coach
- Create, edit or deactivate Academy Programs or Batches
- Change Academy Batch schedules
- Add, enrol, transfer or remove Academy Players
- Create or edit Academy fee records
- Record Academy payments or waive Academy fees
- Manage Academy staff or staff permissions
- Change Academy branches, profile or subscription
- Change the Coach's own Academy role, branch or Batch assignment
Community access
Academy assignment does not automatically unlock the Coach Community. Community posting and discovery through the Coach account require Coach Pro, even when the Coach also works with an Academy.
How assignments are changed
Note: The Academy owner changes the Coach's role, branches and Batches. The Coach account cannot approve, remove or transfer its own Academy assignments.
