Mark Academy Batch Attendance

Record, review and edit attendance for players assigned to an Academy batch.

Who can mark attendance

The Academy owner and Academy staff with Attendance & Communication permission can use the Academy attendance screen. Academy-assigned Coaches use the Coach Attendance screen for Batches assigned to their Coach account.

Before you begin

  • Create an active batch in the selected branch.
  • Assign players to the batch.
  • Confirm that the correct Academy branch is selected.

Open Batch Attendance

  1. Open the Academy dashboard and select the Attendance quick action.
  2. Alternatively, open Batches, select a batch and choose Mark Attendance.
  3. On Batch Attendance, select the required batch.
  4. Review the displayed program, training days and batch time.

Select the attendance date

  1. Choose today’s date to mark new attendance.
  2. Choose a past date to view existing attendance or add a missing record.
Note: Future dates cannot be selected. Yesterday’s saved attendance may also appear as a quick-access card.

Mark every player

  1. Select Present or Absent for each listed player.
  2. Use All Present when every player attended.
  3. Use All Absent when no player attended.
  4. Review the Total, Present, Absent and Pending counts.
Note: The Save Attendance button remains unavailable until every listed player has a status.

Save attendance

  1. Select Save Attendance.
  2. Wait for the Attendance Saved confirmation.
  3. Review the saved Present and Absent groups.
Note: When a Player has a Per Session enrolment with remaining session credits, marking the player Present reduces the remaining session count by one.

Edit saved attendance

  1. Select the batch and saved date.
  2. Review the read-only attendance summary.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Change the required player statuses.
  5. Select Update Attendance.

If attendance cannot be marked

  • No Batches Available: create a batch first.
  • The batch does not appear: confirm that it belongs to the selected branch.
  • A player is missing: confirm that the player is assigned to the batch.
  • Save is disabled: mark every player as Present or Absent.
  • The feature is not available to staff: the staff account may not have Attendance & Communication permission.
