Add and Enrol a Player in Your Academy

Add a player to the selected Academy branch, verify consent, and enrol the player in a training program.

Who can add a player

The Academy owner and Academy staff with Players & Fees permission can add players and manage enrolments.

Before you begin

Select the Academy branch where the player will be enrolled.
Create at least one active training program in that branch.
Keep the player’s active 10-digit mobile number ready.
Create an active batch if you want to assign the player during enrolment. Batch assignment is optional.

Open Add Player

Open Players from the Academy navigation and select Add Player.
You can also select the Player quick action from the Academy dashboard.
Enter the player’s 10-digit mobile number.
Select Continue.

Note: When the player limit for the selected branch or Academy plan has been reached, the Add Player button changes to Upgrade and a Player Limit Reached message appears.

Review the account check

VR SPORT checks the selected branch and the wider platform before continuing.

Player Account Found: the mobile number already has an active Player account.
No Account Found: the Academy can create the basic Player profile after OTP verification.
Player already exists in this branch: review the active or inactive Players list instead of creating another record.

Note: The app blocks a mobile number registered as Staff, an Academy owner or a Coach. A platform-suspended Player account also cannot be added.

Verify the player’s consent

Select Send OTP.
Ask the player to share the 6-digit OTP sent to the entered mobile number.
Select Enter OTP.
Enter the six digits and select Verify & Continue.

Note: Sharing the OTP confirms consent to enrol in the Academy. The OTP can be resent after the countdown reaches zero.

Enter information for a new player

This step appears only when no Player account was found.

Enter the required Player Name.
Select the Date of Birth. The player must be at least 6 years old.
Select Gender if required. This field is optional.
Enter the required Father’s Name.
Enter the required Father’s Mobile Number.
Select Continue to Program Enrolment.

Note: A future date of birth is not accepted. The app also rejects ages below 6 and dates that produce an age above 80.

Select the program and enrolment details

Select one active program from the current branch.
For a Per Session Program, choose the Number of Sessions.
For a Recurring Subscription or Fixed Duration Camp, review the Start Date. The default is the first day of the month.
Enter a Discount if required. The discount cannot be higher than the base fee.
Select an active batch if required. The player can be assigned to a batch later.
Review the Fee Summary, including the base fee, discount, tax and total amount.
Select Enrol Player.

What happens after enrolment

The player is added to the selected branch with an active program enrolment. If a batch was selected, the player is also assigned to that batch. The fee record is calculated from the program price, session quantity, discount and tax settings.
